Welcome to Blessings From New Orleans. These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of blessingsfromneworleans.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. The Site is operated by Blessings From New Orleans LLC (referred to in these Terms as "Blessings From New Orleans," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. IMPORTANT NOTICE — All Items Sold as Curios
Please read this section carefully. By using the Site or purchasing any product, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
All products offered by Blessings From New Orleans — including but not limited to Blessing Boxes, blessing kits, matches and any items intended to be lit, burned, or used in a blessing or ritual process, gift baskets, candles, oils, herbs, charms, mojo bags, gris-gris, dolls, packets, washes, incense, statuary, jewelry, blessing cards, and any spiritual, religious, ceremonial, or cultural items — are sold strictly as curios, novelties, and items of cultural and spiritual curiosity. They are offered in the tradition of New Orleans voodoo, hoodoo, conjure, and folk-spiritual practice for the entertainment, personal interest, and spiritual exploration of the buyer.
By purchasing or using any product, you understand and agree that:
- No specific results are guaranteed or promised. We make no representation that any product will produce a particular outcome — including but not limited to love, luck, money, protection, healing, employment, court success, reconciliation, banishment, or any other result. Outcomes vary by individual belief, intention, circumstance, and other factors entirely outside our control.
- Our products are not a substitute for professional advice or care. Nothing we sell is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Our products are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional services. Always consult a qualified professional for serious health, mental, legal, or financial matters.
- Spiritual and religious items reflect tradition and belief. Statements describing the traditional uses, meanings, or symbolism of items reflect the folk-spiritual traditions from which they come. They are statements of cultural and religious tradition, not statements of scientific fact or guarantees of effect.
- You are responsible for safe use. Some items — including Blessing Boxes, matches, candles, incense, oils, herbs, and powders — involve open flame, heat, smoke, or other hazards and can cause fire, burns, smoke damage, allergic reactions, or property damage if misused. Never leave a lit match, candle, or burning incense unattended. Always use matches, candles, and incense on a stable, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface, away from drapes, bedding, paper, hair, clothing, and any other flammable materials. Keep all products away from children, pets, and anyone who cannot safely handle open flame. Fully extinguish matches, candles, and incense before leaving the area or going to sleep. Do not ingest any product unless its label expressly states it is safe for consumption. Test oils and washes on a small skin area before broader use; if irritation occurs, discontinue immediately. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with local fire codes, lease terms, HOA rules, and any other applicable restrictions.
- You assume all risk of use. You agree to use all products at your own risk and to comply with all applicable laws and safety practices.
This curio disclaimer applies to every product sold through the Site, in every order, regardless of any other description appearing elsewhere.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is older) to use the Site or purchase any product. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly sell to minors.
3. Account Registration
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at Hello@blessingsfromneworleans.com if you suspect any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe are being used fraudulently.
4. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
Placing an Order
Placing an order through the Site is an offer to buy. We may accept, decline, or limit any order at our sole discretion, including after a charge has been authorized. Reasons we may decline an order include suspected fraud, product unavailability, pricing or description errors, shipping restrictions, or violation of these Terms. If we cancel an order, we will refund any amount charged.
Pricing and Taxes
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Applicable sales tax will be added at checkout based on your shipping address. Prices do not include shipping unless expressly stated.
Errors
Despite our best efforts, the Site may occasionally contain typographical, pricing, or product-description errors. We reserve the right to correct errors and to cancel orders placed based on incorrect information, even after the order is confirmed and your payment method has been charged.
Payment
You authorize us (and our third-party payment processor) to charge your selected payment method for the total order amount, including taxes and shipping. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use it.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Processing and Shipping Timeline
Standard timeline. We will ship your order to the best of our ability so that it ships approximately two (2) weeks before the event date you submit at checkout, unless you select expedited shipping. This two-week window is designed to give your order time to arrive well in advance of your event. To make this possible, please place your order at least three (3) weeks before your event date. The earlier you order, the more reliably we can meet your event date.
Expedited shipping. If you need a faster turnaround — including rush, last-minute, or same-week orders — please select expedited shipping at checkout (additional fees apply) or contact us at Hello@blessingsfromneworleans.com before placing your order so we can confirm whether we can meet your timeline. Expedited timelines are subject to product availability, processing capacity, and carrier service.
No event date provided. If you do not submit an event date at checkout, your order will ship within our standard processing window after payment is received and cleared. Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items may require additional lead time; estimated processing times are listed on the product page or in your order confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or U.S. holidays are processed the next business day.
Best-effort basis. While we make every reasonable effort to meet requested event dates, ship and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, customs, address errors, payment-verification holds, supply-chain disruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. If we determine we cannot meet a requested event date, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss options.
Carriers and Delivery
We ship via standard commercial carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, or others). Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes possession of the package. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other circumstances outside our control.
Address Accuracy
You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. Packages returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address may be reshipped at your expense.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a tracking number shows "Delivered," responsibility for the package transfers to you. We are happy to help you file a claim with the carrier, but we are not liable for packages lost or stolen after delivery.
International Shipping
If we ship to your country, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, and fees imposed by your country. You are also responsible for ensuring the items you order are legal to import.
6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
All Sales Final
Because our products are spiritual, ceremonial, and curio items intended for personal use, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on:
- Opened, used, lit, burned, or partially consumed products
- Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items
- Herbs, oils, powders, washes, incense, and other consumables
- Sale or clearance items
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged in transit, defective, or incorrect, contact us at Hello@blessingsfromneworleans.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos showing the issue (including the shipping box and packing materials when damage is involved). We will work with you on a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.
Cancellations
We begin processing orders quickly. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud, abusive behavior toward our team, or violation of these Terms.
7. Custom and Personalized Orders
Personalized items (engraved cards, custom-prepared baskets, requested intentions, etc.) cannot be returned or exchanged. Please double-check spelling, names, dates, and any custom details before submitting your order. We are not responsible for typos or errors you provide.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, images, photographs, product names, logos, recipes, descriptions, and the overall look and feel — is owned by Blessings From New Orleans or our licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission, except that you may print or save individual pages for your personal, non-commercial use.
"Blessings From New Orleans" and any associated logos or branding are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.

You represent that the content is your own, that you have the right to grant this license, and that the content is not unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or obscene.
We may remove any user content at our discretion without notice.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or other users' accounts
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access or copy content from the Site
- Interfere with the operation of the Site or with anyone else's use of it
- Submit false information, fraudulent orders, or chargebacks made in bad faith
- Resell our products as anything other than curios consistent with these Terms
- Use our products in a way that violates the law or harms others
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, payment processors, shipping providers, social media platforms, or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or actions of any third party. Your dealings with third parties are between you and them.
12. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLESSINGS FROM NEW ORLEANS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; OR THAT THE SITE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
AS STATED IN SECTION 1, ALL PRODUCTS ARE SOLD AS CURIOS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY SPIRITUAL, RELIGIOUS, MAGICAL, METAPHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, FINANCIAL, MEDICAL, OR OTHER OUTCOME OF USING OUR PRODUCTS. ANY DESCRIPTION OF TRADITIONAL USES IS PROVIDED FOR CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL CONTEXT ONLY AND IS NOT A GUARANTEE OR PROMISE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions the above exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Liability
For purposes of this Section and Section 14, the "Released Parties" means, collectively: Blessings From New Orleans LLC; Ironic Reports Inc.; A Fine Press LLC; Alexandra Baugh; and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, members, officers, directors, owners, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, PERSONAL INJURY, BURNS, FIRE OR SMOKE DAMAGE, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ANY PRODUCT (INCLUDING ANY BLESSING BOX, MATCHES, CANDLES, OR INCENSE), OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ANY RELEASED PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
THE RELEASED PARTIES' TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE, A PRODUCT, OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of incidental or consequential damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Indemnification and Release
General Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties (as defined in Section 13) from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or relating to (a) your use or misuse of the Site or any product, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (d) any content you submit to the Site.
Blessing Box, Matches, Incense, and Other Burned Items — Express Release
By purchasing, accepting as a gift, or using any Blessing Box, blessing kit, match, candle, incense, or any other item intended to be lit, burned, or used in a blessing, ritual, or ceremonial process, you expressly acknowledge, agree, and represent that:
- You understand these items involve open flame, heat, smoke, and other inherent risks, including but not limited to fire, burns, smoke damage, smoke inhalation, allergic reactions, property damage, personal injury, and damage to persons or property nearby.
- You voluntarily assume all such risks, on your own behalf and on behalf of any household members, guests, or other persons who may be exposed to these products in your possession.
- You release, waive, and forever discharge the Released Parties — including specifically Blessings From New Orleans LLC, Ironic Reports Inc., A Fine Press LLC, and Alexandra Baugh — from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, losses, causes of action, costs, or expenses, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in any way connected to the use, misuse, storage, handling, ignition, lighting, burning, or extinguishing of any Blessing Box, match, candle, incense, or other burned or burnable item sold by us.
- You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim brought by you, any member of your household, any guest, any neighbor, any landlord, any insurer, or any other third party arising out of or relating to the use, misuse, storage, handling, ignition, lighting, burning, or extinguishing of any Blessing Box, match, candle, incense, or other burned or burnable item sold by us.
This release and indemnification applies regardless of whether the claim is based on negligence, strict liability, breach of warranty, breach of contract, or any other legal theory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. If you are giving a Blessing Box or related item as a gift, you agree to communicate the safety instructions and this release to the recipient before they use it.
Nothing in this Section is intended to waive any liability that cannot be waived under applicable law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them, the Site, or any product are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
16. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at Hello@blessingsfromneworleans.com and give us at least 30 days to resolve the dispute informally.
Venue
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Blessings From New Orleans agree that any lawsuit must be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orleans Parish, Louisiana, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.
Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, any dispute will be brought on an individual basis only, and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Time Limitation
Any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or refuse future orders at any time, for any lawful reason, including violation of these Terms. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 1, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 18) will survive.
18. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Blessings From New Orleans regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, supply-chain disruptions, hurricanes, civil unrest, government action, or carrier failures.
- Notices. Notices to us should be sent to Hello@blessingsfromneworleans.com. Notices to you may be sent to the email or address you provided.
- Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect when changes were made. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, stop using the Site.
